At Jo Byrns High School, 13% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 25% scored at or above that level for reading. The school’s minority student enrollment is 24%.

Jo Byrns High School recently held a powder puff football game that pitted the school’s four classes against one another. The event was held as a cheerleading fundraiser.
