Meredith Gaudreau, the widow of hockey star Johnny Gaudreau, announced arrival of their third child, seven months after her husband’s death.

The widow of NHL All-Star Johnny Gaudreau gave birth to the couple's third child months after he and his brother were killed by a suspected drunk driver while riding their bikes in Salem County. Meredith Gaudreau announced on Instagram the birth of Carter Michael Gaudreau on Tuesday,

Gaudreau, along with younger brother Matthew Gaudreau, were killed when they were struck by a suspected drunk driver while cycling on a rural road in Salem County, N.J., on the eve of their sister Katie’s wedding. He was 31 and Matthew was 28.
