Kenan Thompson is hinting that there’s going to be “a lot of change” next season at Saturday Night Live regarding casting. While recently speaking with Page Six, the comedian and longtime SNL castmember called the historic 50th season ending, which concluded with host Scarlett Johansson’s episode on May 17, “bittersweet.”

Kenan Thompson has been on "Saturday Night Live" since 2003 and is by a wide margin, the longest-tenured cast member in "SNL" history.

“Especially this year where it feels like there’s maybe, possibly, a lot of change next year,” Thompson explained. “You want everyone to stay forever, knowing that people may be making decisions this summer…it’s always like you want your kids to stay young.”
