John Torode and Gregg Wallace have co-hosted the UK version of the show for nearly two decades, which TV critic Scott Bryant notes on X could leave broadcaster BBC with a lot of work left to do this year.

John Torode’s contract on MasterChef will not be renewed, the BBC and production company Banijay UK have confirmed. Australian-born Torode, 59, started presenting MasterChef alongside Gregg Wallace in 2005.
