A new, bigger Memorial Elementary School will get a French immersion program as part of a plan to close 10 public elementary schools in the lower Stoney Creek area and rebuild four of them.

Students at Stoney Creek’s Memorial and Mountain View elementary schools will be moving on from more than their old buildings when they take their seats in their replacement school in January.
