Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts will miss this weekend's series against the New York Yankees, but won't require a stint on the injured list after fracturing his second toe, according to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez.

Playing in the Dodgers' last game, which was a loss to the Cleveland Guardians, Betts went 0-for-3 with a walk. When he wasn't in Friday's lineup, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was asked by reporters for an update.
