Mullion Village Garden, with its rich history and dedicated volunteers, continues to be a treasured asset for the community, reflecting the high standards set by the Green Flag Community Award scheme.

Mullion village is nestled between two rivers and guarded by stunning cliffs set in splendid isolation on the Lizard Peninsula, the British mainland’s most southerly point.

A procession was held through the village before a funeral took place at Mullion Parish Church. Veterans travelled from across Cornwall, and as far away as Southampton, to honour the former soldier.
