The NCAA's college football playoff model is currently being debated, and its college basketball postseason could soon be changed as well. The NCAA tournament last expanded from 65 to 68 teams in 2011 after CBS and WBD agreed to pay $10.8 billion to carry the men’s tournament for the next 14 years. CBS and WBD later signed an eight-year, $8.8 billion extension to continue to broadcast the tournament through 2032.
