Over a year after a wildly successful launch on PS5 and PC, the PlayStation-published third-person shooter is making its way to Xbox.

Helldivers 2 will be deploying its brand of managed democracy to Xbox Series X|S consoles in August. Officially announced during a livestream, the game is a co-op third-person action game in which players take on the role of a Helldiver, a soldier determined to protect Super Earth and all of its interests by any--mostly violent--means necessary.

There are 18 other games that players can access after July 2, 2025, if they get the Xbox Game Pass. The Game Pass subscription starts at $19.99 per month. It provides access to hundreds of games, including EA Play, and day one releases like Doom: The Dark Ages and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered.
