The Newton High School Class of 1968 reunion weekend of September 7-9 was a resounding success. About 55 class members participated in events at the Newton VFW Post 5360 Friday night welcome.

NEWTON - Three quarters of a century ago in 1944, approximately 117 students from throughout Sussex County graduated from Newton High School, located in what is now Halsted Middle School.
