Nike is set to raise prices on some trainers and clothing in the US from early June, weeks after rival Adidas warned it would have to hike the cost of products due to tariffs. The sportswear giant did not name US tariffs explicitly as a reason for the increase, saying it regularly made "price adjustments".

Nike is set to increase the prices of its popular athletic shoes and apparel from $2 to $10 per piece in response to President Donald Trump’s incoming tariffs, according to a report. The price hike will impact products sourced overseas,

"We regularly evaluate our business and make pricing adjustments as part of our seasonal planning," Nike said.
