In solidarity with hundreds of cities across the United States, local organizers are joining a national mass protest called “No Kings” on June 14, President Donald Trump’s birthday.

Most recent Gallup polls from May 23 showed a 43% approval and 53% disapproval rating, reflecting 90% approval from Republicans and 4% from Democrats, in line with prior polls. Independent views of Trump, however, have changed significantly this year according to Gallup, now at 33% approval versus 46% in January.
