Environment Canada has issued weather warnings for northeastern Nova Scotia and parts of Cape Breton. Most are wind warnings, while there are some winter storm warnings.

The companies said the incident has not impacted Nova Scotia Power's physical operations and Emera's utilities in the U.S.
