BRILLIANT sunshine on Saturday ensured the crowds turned out to help make the Jubilee Fayre held by pupils, parents and staff at Wester Overton Primary School in Strathaven a tremendous success.

STRATHAVEN’S new £8.5m Wester Overton Primary School was last week officially opened. The school, which has a roll of 357 pupils, was opened by Depute Leader councillor Michael McCann.
