Twelve protesters were charged on Thursday with felony vandalism for their actions during a June 2024 pro-Palestinian protest at Stanford University in which demonstrators barricaded themselves inside the office of the school president.

Felony charges have been filed against 12 pro-Palestinian protesters allegedly involved in vandalism at Stanford. The charges are among the most serious faced by those involved in campus protests last year.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney on Thursday charged 12 people with felony vandalism following a pro-Palestinian event at Stanford University last summer, where protesters stormed the president's office and destroyed property on the Palo Alto campus.
