Students and staff across the district will participate in a variety of volunteer and service projects in honor of the lives lost.

The community came together at events Friday to warmly remember the 17 people who died in the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

Students gather on the seventh anniversary of the Parkland School shooting to make a heart. Around 250 students will form a heart on the P.E. field for a photo. The moment of reflection will be live in the video player above.

Parkland parents and the wider community are remembering the victims of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School seven years after that fateful day, by flying flags at half-staff and holding moments of reflection with students across Broward County schools.
