Two years ago, the then 6-year-old penned a poem at 826DC ’s after school writing program. Now, that 12-word composition, called “The Tiger,” is one of the hottest topics on social media.
But the subject of the poem is not a tiger, real or imagined. It is the mind itself, pulling that idea of a tiger from a muddle of words, images, and references.
