Candidates who ‘appeared’ for the learner licence test at the Andheri RTO on Saturday passed simply by doing nothing.

Ahmedabad: Merely 10 days after the state introduced the home-based online learner's driving licence test, the average pass rate has jumped from 75% t.

Pune RTO has started giving license test slots from 7 am due to high demand and rising temperatures. There has been an increase in license applications since the beginning of the year.

But a few officials managed to issue driving licences for 175 candidates in a day. Another official in the same office conducted a test for 298 candidates. Each RTO official is given a login ID.

According to information shared by the RTO, applicants submitting their Aadhar cards can either take the learning licence exam online at home or visit the Pune RTO’s learning license department.
