Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the launch of the district’s new comprehensive plan, which officials say will be the first rewriting of the city’s road map in nearly 20 years.

There will be widespread closures around Capitol Hill, Washington Convention Center and the White House going into effect on Jan. 20 for President-elect Donald Trump's indoor inauguration ceremony.
