An off-duty San Francisco police officer has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a Saturday morning car crash that left five people injured. The two-vehicle collision occurred around 2 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Rivera Street, according to a news release from the San Francisco Police Department.

The crash on Saturday in San Francisco injured four people, with one of them having life-threatening injuries.

San Francisco Police Department officer Ryan Kwong graduated from the police academy on Thursday. Just two days later, Kwong was off-duty when he allegedly caused a major collision that sent a victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
