A farewell barbecue and walk through the closed Mater Dei high school building in Middletown on May 10 will include ideas on saving the school seal.

Alumni are attempting to save Mater ... Shaw, whose siblings and children also graduated from the school, said the seal carries deep meaning for those who have walked around it.
