(WTWO/WAWV) — One local state park has been closed to the public since December 2 for a deer reduction hunt. These reduction hunts are performed by nearly 60 selected hunters at Shakamak.
“The pool at Shakamak State Park will be open this year,” confirmed Holly Lawson, Director of the Division of Communications for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
