Shohei Ohtani made his Los Angeles Dodgers pitching debut on Monday night against the San Diego Padres and took to social media to comment on it.

The two-way superstar from Japan gave up a run and a pair of two-strike hits in one inning of work Monday night against San Diego as he returned from right elbow surgery.

On Monday, Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages took exception to being hit by a pitch. Los Angeles retaliated on Tuesday by plunking Fernando Tatis Jr. in the top of the third inning. In the bottom half of the inning, Shohei Ohtani caught one in the upper leg.
