Showing kindness in words costs nothing but your breath, effort and desire. Kind words are words that show appreciation or words that uplift or encourage or bring hope or bring healing.

We often ask students to show how they are kind to others, turning kindness into big productions, but another key way for students to be kind is to show self-restraint toward others.
