Despite cashing in on star power with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot starring in the flick, Snow White ’s struggle to comb up contemporary relevance was received in bad light from day one.

Many of Snow White’s signature moments and sights (a poisoned apple that looks like a skull; the Dwarfs marching in line to their mine) are adequately faithful reproductions.
