The new 160,000 square foot southeast middle school, which has not yet been named, will have the capacity to serve 900 students. It will be completed in 2025-26.

Southeast Middle School will be located on the same plot of land as a new elementary school will be built. Gignac said that elementary school and parking lot are 51 percent done.

Fifth grade students at Creekside Elementary School will vote on the new Lexington Middle School mascot. The building will be nearly 159,000 square feet with a 900-student capacity.
