With the Crew-10 ISS docking, NASA is looking to March 19 at 4 a.m. EDT, for the departure of the Crew 9 Dragon designated Freedom that launched and docked to the ISS over Sept. 28-29 with NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov and two empty seats needed for the return of Wilmore and Williams to Earth.

The replacements for stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams arrived early Sunday morning. NASA says Williams and Wilmore will return home next week after nine months in space.

Four new astronauts arrived at the International Space Station aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon on Sunday. Their arrival finally provides a way home for two NASA astronauts who have been on the ISS since June 2024.
