A shopping writer’s favorite new piece of furniture is the counter-height, bouclé bar stools from Wayfair that have transformed their island into a workstation during the day and bar top at night.

While I wasn’t able to bring my desk to the current place, I found a set of teddy bear-soft bar stools at Wayfair ... in other colors including gold hardware and black velvet-like material.
