TCU couldn’t hold onto its halftime lead as it fell to Kansas by double-digits, 74-61. The Jayhawks’ strong defense prevented TCU from climbing back on top, forcing the Horned Frogs to go the final 3:30 of the game without a field goal.

OSU sophomore Stailee Heard had 17 points and freshman Jadyn Wooten exploded for 14, all in the second half, as the Cowgirls erased the huge deficit over the final 14-plus minutes. TCU star guard Hailey Van Lith had just 12 points and missed a potential go-ahead shot in the closing seconds.

The Kansas Jayhawks head back on the road to avoid falling any further behind the leaders in the Big 12 race. Standing in the way are the TCU Horned Frogs, who just finished a huge comeback in a rivalry game over the weekend.
