New Delhi: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has cancelled affiliation of state-run school Saraswati Sishu Mandir after it mentioned Islampur as Ishwarpur in its admission notice.

With the death of one more youth on early Friday the death toll in the alleged police firing on agitating school students at Islampur in West Bengal’s Uttar Dinajpur district rose to two.
