French-Canadian entrepreneur Stephan Tetrault has acquired Electronics Boutique Canada Inc. — also known as GameStop Canada — and is set to rebrand the 185-store chain.

Now known as “GameStop Canada,” the business will be relaunched as EB Games Canada — its company name before being rebranded in 2021. The retailer has more than 185 stores across Canada.

Stephan Tetrault, the owner of Canada-based toymaker and distributor Imports Dragon, has acquired GameStop Canada and will relaunch it as “EB Games Canada,” according to a press release.
