SODDY DAISY, Tenn. (WDEF) - This morning, around 12:40, a family in Soddy lost not only their home but also their pets in a house fire.

A house fire early Sunday morning claimed a Soddy Daisy family's home and two pets. At 12:40 a.m., Soddy Daisy Fire Department responded to 115 Nale Road on a reported structure fire.

For the past few weeks, the house at 10010 Dayton Pike in Soddy-Daisy has been under assault. In September, the scattered tombstones of a cemetery emerged in the front yard.
