VinFast has taken covers off its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India, marking the company's entry into the Indian market.

Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast is set to enter the Indian market with two premium electric SUVs to compete with local and Chinese rivals. The company aims to contribute to India's climate goals and plans to invest $500 million in building a production facility and infrastructure over the next five years.

Vietnamese pure-play electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, which has officially introduced its first electric vehicles for the Indian market at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, plans to launch the cars before the upcoming festival season later this year.

The Vinfast Vento S is an electric scooter and was showcased in a very subtle paint scheme. The Vento S gets the same 3.5kWh battery pack like other Vinfast scooters. This also gets a 12-inch front and a 12-rear wheel along with a front disc brake.

Electric vehicle maker VinFast Auto Ltd. said it plans to begin selling two made-in-India cars in the South Asian country later this year, marking the Vietnamese carmaker’s debut in the world’s third-biggest car market.
