Members of an Indigenous community north of Bermagui on the New South Wales far south coast say authorities have failed to act during a serious village dispute.

The Wallaga Lake Bridge is 128 years old and has even featured in a Hollywood film, but its frequent repairs have some people asking if it is time to retire it.
