They signed defensive lineman Raequan Williams, wide receiver Malik Taylor and tight end Luke Deal. Williams was a former standout defensive lineman at Michigan State, and Taylor played his college ball at Ferris State University.

The Detroit Lions feature a few players on the active roster and in rookie camp who played college football at Division II programs in Michigan.

Friday's rookie minicamp was the first opportunity to see the Detroit Lions draft class and undrafted free agents put on the Honolulu Blue and take part in a practice. I was there for the sun-soaked morning practice and the player press conferences afterward.
