The Rock, a symbol of the Willowbrook High School Warrior tradition, was painted red overnight in honor of slain freshman Darnell Holt, who loved the color.

A Willowbrook High School student was killed over the weekend in a hit-and-run crash in downstate Joslin. Emilio Perez, 17, was a student at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park.
