School officials said Stovall's death happened outside of Wylie and Collin County, but more details were not released. Wylie East High School families were notified of Stovall's death.

A Wylie student was arrested this week for threatening to shoot up his high school. Police responded to a call from a Whataburger in Wylie around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
