A man who investigators say was driven by a desire “to kill all Zionist people” when he threw Molotov cocktails at demonstrators in Colorado raising awareness of Israeli hostages is set to make his first federal court appearance.

Two bench rows marked “reserved for victims” sat empty in the Boulder County Jail courtroom on Thursday, when a judge told Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who is accused of throwing Molotov

Mohamed Sabry Soliman was charged with a hate crime in the June 1 attack. He also faces 118 state criminal counts, including attempted murder.
