A petition has garnered hundreds of thousands of signatures over the past week with support from Drake and other artists demanding rapper Tory Lanez be released from prison.

Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting his fellow rap star Megan Thee Stallion in the summer of 2020. In 2023, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He’s currently serving that time and was recently stabbed 14 times.
