Winter storm warning expires, hazardous road conditions continue
We continue our First Alert Weather Day on Wednesday as a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 a.m. due to snow and ice still impacting the roadways. Travel is dangerous and not encouraged for areas within the perimeter and along and south of I-85.
Ice-related crashes continue, but one road hazard is mostly clear across metro Atlanta
Dekalb County was one of those hit hardest in metro Atlanta. Hundreds of drivers had to leave their cars, trucks and SUVs on the roadways when ice coated the roads. Shanard Weems and his team of tow truck drivers worked to dig many of them out.
