Romulus” will be one of the first blockbusters in years to receive a VHS release. Romulus was noted for its return to the basics approach, revitalizing a lot of the elements from the original “Alien” released in 1979.

The seventh installment in the 45-year “Alien” film series hits Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home on Oct. 15 ahead of its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release on Dec. 3. In a behind-the-scenes clip from the forthcoming release, Wu discusses the logistics of playing host to a newborn alien.

Alien: Romulus released this past August to become a massive success, both critically and financially. The film earned $350.7 million on an $80 million budget as well as an 80% critic rating and an 85% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Romulus yet, but it was clearly a successful antidote to things viewers disliked about the seemingly-abandoned Prometheus trilogy, which ground to a halt after the oddly mispitched Alien: Covenant in 2017.
