Rutgers is adding a future playmaker to its offense, as class of 2026 three-star athlete Elias Coke has committed to the Scarlet Knights. Coke announced his pledge to Rutgers on Wednesday. He is expected to play wide receiver for the Scarlet Knights.

Miami, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame and Rutgers were the five finalists for Harrisburg (Pa.) wide receiver Elias Coke, and the buzz had been around the Nittany Lions, and he was leaning that way,

The four-star junior wide receiver says his decision came down to Tuesday night, picking Rutgers over Penn State, Miami, Michigan and Notre Dame.

That is what Rutgers did, snapping a three-game losing streak, and getting a much-needed win ahead of a two-game road trip that could decide the team’s fate in the postseason. The sky was falling for Rutgers and its best players stepped up when needed most.
