Manchester United's U21 side saw their game at Tamworth called off due to a head injury to Sekou Kone but the teenager is now stable after receiving treatment and requiring an ambulance

Manchester United midfielder Sekou Kone has been discharged from hospital after his horror head injury that led to a match being suspended. United’s Under-21 side were in action against Tamworth in the National League Cup at the Lamb Ground on Wednesday night with play halted just before half-time.

Kone fell to the ground following a clash of heads with a Tamworth player towards the end of the first half at the Lamb Ground.
