The U.S. Virgin Islands are part of the Virgin Islands archipelago, an eastern island group of the Caribbean's Lesser Antilles region. The other part of the archipelago is the British Virgin Islands.

On St. Croix, however, a decades-long tradition is continuing as hundreds of families will give up the comforts of home and head to many of the island’s many beaches for Easter camping.
