The last elephants at the Los Angeles Zoo have been quietly moved to a zoo in Oklahoma despite a lawsuit seeking to have them transferred to a sanctuary where they could live out their days with more room to roam.

TMZ reported that the elephants were put into crates and loaded onto a semi-truck around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, citing sources connected to the LA Zoo.
