Delaware State University just announced the launch of its own independent line of collegiate merchandise. The institution says it is the first HBCU to own and distribute its own clothing label.

The inventory will include limited-edition merchandise that can only be purchased directly from Delaware State University. Five percent of all sales will go toward funding scholarships.

Delaware State University is gearing up to celebrate its 133rd commencement, with just under 1,000 soon-to-be graduates. It all kicks off for undergraduates at 8 a.m., May 9, in Alumni Stadium.
