The Colorado Avalanche created plenty, but Petr Mrazek made 36 saves to help the Chicago Blackhawks upset the Avs, 3-1, Wednesday night at United Center.
Frank Nazar and Ilya Mikheyev also scored for the 'Hawks, who had lost six of seven. Petr Mrazek stopped 35 shots.
He has been especially strong of late with five goals and 13 points in his last 11 contests. The Blackhawks have to get better around him, as his wingers are Tyler Bertuzzi and Ilya Mikheyev, and once they do, look for Bedard to fly.
