Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will not be joined by the Ravens' Lamar Jackson or the Bills' Josh Allen at the upcoming Pro Bowl Games.

On Tuesday, about 15 minutes after Patriots rookie Drake Maye had been named as replacement for Lamar Jackson in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, the Steelers announced that Wilson was named a replacement for Josh Allen. Both Jackson and Allen cited injuries as reasons for missing the festivities.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud declined his invite, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN reports. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix isn’t going because of the transverse process fracture in his back that he played through at the end of the season, Mike Klis of 9News reports.

Two new quarterbacks were added to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday as replacements. Both Drake Maye and Russell Wilson are headed to the Pro Bowl. They will be replacing Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, who won’t be making the trip to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

That list might have included Denver Broncos rookie Bo Nix.

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski will begin next season as the offensive play caller in Cleveland. The Bengals’ new defensive coordinator wants to help them start faster in September.

Fullback — x-Patrick Ricard, Baltimore. Wide Receiver — x-Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati; x-Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland; Nico Collins, Houston; y-Zay Flowers, Baltimore; Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville.

Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Trey Hendrickson are scheduled to compete in three of the five events in Thursday's Pro Bowl Skills Show.

Lamar Jackson will not be participating in the Pro Bowl Games and will be replaced by rookie New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. The AFC's three quarterbacks at the Pro Bowl will now be the Bengals' Joe Burrow, Steelers' Russell Wilson (replacing the Bills' Josh Allen), and Maye.

Steelers owner Art Rooney II said he prefers to bring back Russell Wilson or Justin Fields at quarterback next season.
