The Amarillo Police Department has released new details on a deadly officer-involved shooting at Walmart on Georgia Street.

The police department said their Criminal Investigative Bureau is continuing to gather information about this case.

Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones said the incident was first reported to authorities in 2018 and the alleged abuse occurred in 1994.
