Arbor View High School seniors celebrated graduation while honoring classmate Mackenzie Scott, who was killed in a DUI crash weeks before the ceremony.

Arbor View High School’s Class of 2025 did more than walk across a stage Tuesday as they also took a step into their future.

Although she can’t be with us today, she will always be part of Arbor View’s class of 2025,” Principal Duane Bickmore said about McKenzie Scott.

Arbor View High School plans to honor Scott at their May 27 graduation ceremony, being held at noon at the Thomas & Mack Center.
